NeuroKinetic Therapy is a technique used to determine if muscles are working efficiently. If they are not working well then we can use NKT to find what muscles are compensating for others and correct the pattern.

This varies depending on what the issue is. The physiotherapist can give you a better idea after the initial assessment.

Payment is made at the end of each session, we accept Visa and Mastercard. If you have extended benefits, you can submit your receipt to your insurer and they will reimburse you.

  • At Home Program (AHP): If your child has AHP funding we can bill directly to the ministry for our services. Please call for further details.
  • Autism Funding Unit (AFU): We can bill AFU directly. Please call for further details
  • Private Charities: There are various private charities that we can apply to for funding, such as Vareity Club, President’s Choice etc. Please call our office for details.

No your child does not need a referral for our services, however some insurance companies require a doctor’s referral for your coverage. It is best to call your insurer to see what their guidelines are.

There is a parking lot located behind the building and the lot has 2 wheelchair stalls as well. There is also a parkade next to Newport Liquor Store, you can park in any of the stalls with no “reserved” sign.

Initial assessments are 1 hour, follow up visits are 45 minutes.
