Maegan Mak • BSc., BKin, MPT
Maegan is a seasoned and respected paediatric physiotherapist with over 8 years of experience in rehabilitation and healthcare. She has honed her skills working in private clinics and has a passion for making physiotherapy a fun and engaging experience for kids. Maegan holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Calgary, a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Physical Therapy from UBC. She is a continuous learner, having taken courses and certifications in areas such as NeuroKinetic Therapy, Dynamic Core for Kids, Complete Concussion Management, and more. With her expertise and passion, Maegan aims to provide exceptional care to children and families in the Tri-Cities through her clinic.

Kate Heays • BSc.Kin • MSc.PT
Residing in Coquitlam, Kate is thrilled to be offering physiotherapy services for children within her local community. Since graduating with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto in 2010, Kate has worked with children in both private and public paediatric settings, including work at BC Children’s Hospital in the outpatient and oncology departments.
Kate is passionate about providing evidence based treatment and collaborating with other health care practitioners to provide an integrated approach for holistic treatment. She has experience working with patients with congenital, genetic and neurological disorders, Torticollis, Plagiocephaly, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), post concussion syndrome as well as a variety of orthopaedic conditions.
Kate regularly participates in continuing education. She has training in Bobath techniques, Cuevas Medek Exercises (level 2), soft tissue release techniques, Level 2 lower manual therapy, NeuroKinetic therapy, COOP training, oncology rehabilitation courses as well as other paediatric specific courses.
Kate currently volunteers for the Rare Disease Foundation. She also has volunteer experience with the Canucks Autism Network and BC Special Olympics programs.
Lindsay Eriksson • BHK • MPT
With over 10 years of experience working with children, Lindsay has honed her skills in pediatric care. She brings a wealth of knowledge to PlayWorks Physio, having spent 5 years in the community working with SHARE. Lindsay holds a Bachelors degree in Human Kinetics Exercise Science and a Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia.
Her passion for evidence-based care is evident in her commitment to continuous education. She has completed courses in baby treatment, dynamic core, NDT treatment, and pediatric vestibular rehabilitation, ensuring she provides well-rounded care for families.
With experience in a variety of conditions, including prematurity, congenital disorders, neurological disorders, genetic disorders, torticollis and plagiocephaly, and Autism Spectrum Disorder, Lindsay is equipped to help children reach their full potential. Additionally, she brings expertise in equipment planning and therapeutic horseback riding to the PlayWorks Physio team.

Melanie Touhey • BSc., MPT, Physiotherapist
Melanie hails from Coquitlam and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Physiology from Simon Fraser University. She went on to pursue a Master of Physical Therapy from The University of British Columbia.
With over 7 years of experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor for the City of Port Coquitlam and the City of Port Moody, Melanie is well-versed in working with children and youth. During her undergraduate studies, she took part in the Co-operative Education Program and worked as a Research Assistant in the Gastroenterology Division at B.C. Children’s Hospital.
Melanie is passionate about making physiotherapy engaging and fun. She completed 2 of her 6 clinical internships in pediatric physiotherapy at the South Peace Child Development Center in Dawson Creek and PlayWorks Physio. She has experience treating children with conditions such as torticollis, plagiocephaly, developmental delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and a range of neurological and orthopedic issues.
In her leisure time, Melanie enjoys swimming, running, and playing soccer on a division 2 women’s team.
Nick Mui • BA • RMT • MPT
Growing up in Port Moody, Nick attended Simon Fraser University and graduated with a Bachelor of Criminology with a special interest in criminal law. However, his life took a twist when he discovered his passion for providing healthcare. Nick then returned to complete his diploma in massage therapy and practiced for several years in the tri–cities. Being inspired by the physiotherapists he worked with, he was motivated to pursue a higher education and completed his Master of Physical Therapy in Scotland at the Glasgow Caledonian University. He discovered his love for working with paediatric patients while completing a placement at Glasgow Royal Hospital for Children. Nick is a strong advocate of the importance of exercise and movement in physical therapy and believes that it can always be made fun! To stay active, Nick has a passion for the circus arts. He primarily trains in pole fitness and has won multiple national competitions. His other hobbies include photography and video games.

Noa Tsur • BPT
Since her graduation, Noa has completed courses in NDT Normal/Ab–Normal Development, Sensory Integration, Cardiopulmonary & Postural Control as other paediatric specific courses.
In addition to being a physiotherapist, Noa is a Pilates instructor and enjoys adding her holistic vision into her treatments. In her free time, Noa loves to dance, practice Yoga and Pilates, hiking with her husband and kids, and yes, she also loves to have a quiet cup of coffee in front of the TV.
Noa is dedicated to providing personalized care to each and every child she works with. She believes that every child is unique and deserves individualized treatment that is tailored to their specific needs and goals.
